Your tour departs from your Edinburgh hotel at 2:30 PM. Have a welcome drink with your group and then set out on a panoramic tour of Edinburgh. Discover the medieval townhouses along the Royal Mile in the heart of the Old Town and the Georgian mansions of the 200-year-old New Town. Your evening is free to return to the hotel or to explore and dine as you wish.
Visit the Port of Leith Distillery, a new distillery in Scotland’s historic center of trade in wines and spirits. Discover how this modern distillery approaches sustainability in ingredients and production methods. Next, explore Edinburgh Castle, once a royal fortress and today home to the Scottish Crown Jewels. The rest of your day is free to stroll the city and dine as you wish. (August 4 and 11 departures attend the spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the Castle Esplanade.) (B)

Always a great experience

Would love to give 5 stars, but there was too much time on the bus. There were a few times where we would drive to a destination for an hour or 1.5 hours then back to the hotel. Then the next day we drove another 1.5 hours to a destination and back to the hotel. Could have streamlined the travel to spend less time on the bus. Also the taste of Belfast did not provide enough food for a dinner. It was barely an appetizer.

Tour guide and bus driver were awesome.

We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived in the airport till the tour ended. The only downside was a couple of the hotels had no AC.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because there were two times the timing wasn’t the best. In the day tour of Dublin, too much time was spent driving to see points of interest which made the choice of optional tours difficult with so little time to get to the chosen place for a complete tour. The only other was the long ferry then bus ride from Belfast to the first stop in Scotland.
